Things to consider then buying a Camera
- budget
- Camcorder Recording Formats
- MiniDV (Jim‚s suggested Camera to buy)
- High 8
- Digital 8
- VHS
- DVD
- The Camera Video Chips (Two types 1 CCD chip or 3 CCD chip cameras)
- In 3 CCD one chip is used to record green, one records blue, and the other records red
- You will want a 3 CCD chip camera if you indent to do any green screen video shooting
- All professional video should be shot using a 3 CCD chip camera
- Desired Manual Control Camcorder for you Camcorder
- White Balance – is the important one
- Shutter settings
